Hope, most of us have been hatching chicks under hens for years.  We do not have to view yours to understand the concept....If  comments such as about "mongrel chicks" comes from direct observation?  Mongrel chicks are mixed breeds, like many of us (I am Cherokee Indian with some white blood).  You described them in terms that would lead one to believe they must be mongrels....You ask for what your received!!...Like most of what you write, this does not make since!! ....So that makes you an expert?  Here you go with one of those "look at me, you dumb clucks" statements.  Statements such as this do not make you look so smart.
