Flock elder Gold Lace Hen Sarandipity -  one of two surviving first born progeny of founders White Rooster Shinnecock, Gold Lace Hens Cleo and Chloe - receives a warm welcome (r) by Crele Rooster Lore and his mother Hen Cuckoo Pearl.

The first time this winter that (r) Lore and Pearl have seen Sarandipity: she was moved inside our home due to fragile health.

At times near death.

When this past October her son Gerard pulled her back to life her condition stabilized. Some days better then others:  but not enough to resume life outdoors during freezing temperatures. Why she’s sitting on my lap as I write and post footage detailing the display of love and affection she’s received.
