Hello Italy is just one counrty that has been said be be were the Polands came from, there is quite a bit of evidence from Roman ruins of a bird with a vaulted head, so yes Italy is possable, but Eastern Europe also has some clams as well, one is the name of the birds in Euorpe "Polonds" this gives one country a pretty good clam, but they think it goes futher than just Poland the country mybe even into Russia. I guess this is one of those breeds no one realy knows it's orgian.
