Will the people who have written to me privately and expressed concern about posting stories about their PET Polish please not be intimidated, and post away?  This club and Message Board are for ALL people with Polish or interested in Polish. (please correct me if I am wrong here, Jim, because I have gotten lots of new members for the club in the last few years by telling people exactly that)  Some people are reluctant to post anything about their PET Polish for fear of ridicule and intimidation from a small clique' of show oriented folks who seem to be intolerant of anyone whose goals are not similar to their own.  Please, let's all enjoy our Polish in our own ways. “

Sorry
, I just could not let this one pass without comment.  I lived through the "diversity" craze at the company I retired from.  I watched it go from a very well managed company to a very poorly managed one in the name of diversity.  Promotions were made based on race, gender, and politics.  Qualifications did not come into play.  Stock prices went from the high $40s to the low $20s.  We do not need "diversity" here.  This is the Polish Breeders Club board, not a mongrel board.  The show bird world is all about purity in the breeds, crossbreeds do not have a place in the showrooms or breed pens.  There are plenty of farm boards out there where the emphasis is on the mixed breed stuff.
I know you and I do not agree on many of these things,
and as I have said before, that is OK.  BUT, in my opinion, diversity in the pure bred poultry world just don't cut it.

By the way, were it not for that "small clique of show oriented folks" that you like to poke fun at or belittle, there would not be any pure bred poultry for you to play with.  That chip seems to be getting larger!

My opinions.
